Frank (USA) He is still Greek, but he still can ride a bike. Frank and I have been riding Aliso Woods for some time now and he used to totally kick my ass up Cholla - but now things are changing. He is still faster, but now I can ride it without barfing at the top. Great ride, but as a photographer.. Click on the image to view the complete and full size photo. Ok, this is Frank starting up the really short steep sucky climb known as Dripping Cave. 03/14/03	Dosen't look so bad like this but near the end it is very steep and is Puke Fest by the top. 03/14/03	Even though he looks like he is going to hurl - Frank is just getting his second wind. 03/14/03
Ok, Dripping cave has a sucky climb, but it has a great view of Wood Canyon and some Urban Blight. 03/14/03	This is the best part of Dripping Cave - a really nice drop off followed by a short choppy rocky section. 03/14/03	Now the fun begins, with the trail decending with some sweet hairpin turns. 03/14/03
These picture were taken in July, 2 months with no rain and the fine dust (Cocaine) was deep. 03/14/03	The Coke hides the contours of the trail with makes thing interesting and keeps you on your toes. 03/14/03	Frank only put his leg out for the photo, and dosen't normally look this "Wally". 03/14/03
At the bottom of the Cholla climb, Frank always looks back and says to me, "Dude, have you rested enough?" 03/14/03	In this rare photo, from left to right is: John, Frank, some bushes and Jim. Urban Blight is in the background. 03/14/03	Cholla is a great technical climb, but is one of the easiest ways up to the main ridge line an a view of Saddleback. 03/14/03
Usually Frank has to do CPR on me after Cholla, but some times all he has to do is wait till I regain my sight. 03/14/03	Of course, business never stops for Frank, even during the ride. It is good that cell phone work here!! 03/14/03	One of the more technical downhills is "Lynx" which is steep, narrow and really cut up with water ruts. 03/14/03
Of course in the summer, the "cocaine" totally covers the trail making it even more fun and dirty. 03/14/03	Frank wanted to make sure I got a good shot of his famous bubble butt. Something about his teen fan club... 03/14/03	Damn plant got in the way of Frank. Next time, got to run the damn thing over and show it whose boss! 03/14/03
One of the better parts of Lynx, is this sweet jump in the middle of some single track. 03/14/03	Go Frank go... This little jump is nice because it can make even Frank look like a World Cup downhiller. 03/14/03	Of course, he may have to work on his "T.V. face" before entering some World Cup events. 03/14/03
The park service did some work on the main trail, and as a result it now has some nice speed jumps. 03/14/03	Damn, I knew I all those years taking picture would pay off someday. These were taken in the beginning of March. 03/14/03	This is Frank's photo of me. I knew I was "half brained", and here is the proof. How come Frank looks better? 03/14/03
Ah, nearing the end of another great ride.
